Thanks for stopping by my Lake Whitney blog. It’s exciting for me to be able to share the lake lifestyle out here in North Texas.
My name is Emily Morris. I have lived out here for over twenty years, mostly in White Bluff Resort on Lake Whitney. People are nice — laid back and relaxed. Most are religious to some extent and helping others plays a big role in their lives. People help each other out. They care about their neighbors. And that is one very important reason to love the White Bluff and Lake Whitney community.
Cost of living is very reasonable. You just couldn’t afford these homes up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex or in any other big city area. Folks get so much more for their money here at Lake Whitney. (And Texas does not have a state income tax! Hooray!) We are happy to have the Metroplex nearby, but are also happy that we have room to stretch out and breathe — no traffic, no congestion, no crime
With each post, I will tell you about the features of this area and also about the people who chose to live here and the homes available, if you choose to come down and enjoy life at Lake Whitney and White Bluff Resort. We welcome your visit.
